The GK Open is a Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament. Great Missions! Great Prizes! Great Fun! 2000pt ITC 40k tournament ITC code of conduct enforced. ITC Hobby Track Points will be awarded. Day 1 Registration 9:00am 1st Round 10:00am Lunch 1:00pm 2nd Round 1:45pm 3rd Round 5:00pm Day 2 4th Round 10:15am 5th Round. 2:00pm Awards. 5:30pm THE ITC CODE OF CONDUCT WILL BE ENFORCED AT THIS EVENT!! More Info on ITC Code of Conduct: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RFhFICnwr15wK0pdUcUnp0uNRn_-jUdtZvHKPTTR4Yo/edit 2,000 points 3 Hour Rounds – This event will be strictly timed, with timers at every table. If players seem to be playing slow; the Judges, at their discretion, may apportion the remaining time to ensure at least 4 game turns are played. Failure to complete at least 3 full game turns will result in a zero-point loss for both players. ITC Format: We will be using the Matched Play recommendations from the Warhammer 40,000 8th Edition ruleset. The details for this format can be located in the Warhammer 40,000 main rulebook. If you wish to use Chess Clocks in your games. When using Chess Clocks, the ITC recommends requiring only one of the players at the table to ask for a Chess Clock to be put in to play for it to be used. Army Composition Guidelines Per the matched play rules, armies must be battle-forged and you cannot create an army list containing more than a total of three of the detachments listed in the main rulebook on Pg.242-245. All current Games Workshop & Forgeworld 8th edition Warhammer 40,000 source material may be used to build your Battle-forged army. Chapter Approved 2018 Edition is in effect for ITC standard events. The following bonus stratagem will be in effect: Duncan's Disdain: 1 cp May only me used against an unpainted enemy unit in the shooting or fight phase. Nominate one of your units. Until the end of the phase that unit may re-roll to hit rolls against the unpainted unit.
