Best Coast Pairings scoring formats

We host the ITC ranking database for Warhammer 40K and Age of Sigmar. We also support the Warmachine Steamroller format along with any other swiss paired event through our 'Generic' event type

ITC Points

Overall ranking
  • Top 5 scores
  • Up to 4 GT and RTT scores
  • No more than 3 RTT scores
  • A minimum of 1 Major and 1 GT is required for 5 eligable scores

  • Faction ranking
  • Top 4 scores
  • Up to 3 RTT/GT's
  • You need at least 1 Major to have 4 scores count
  • Majors will always count. A Major is 5+ rounds and 57+ players, GT's are 5+ rounds and 27+ players, Events less than 5 rounds are RTTs as would an event < 27 players. This is covered in more detail near the bottom of Frontline Gaming's ITC page here

    ITC Warhammer 40K

  • The event itself is swiss paired (1000pts per Win, 500 ties & 0 for Loss)
  • Missions are scored on Primary (4pts), Secondary (4pts) & Tertiary ( Three at 1pt each)
  • Ties are sorted (not broken) by Strength of Schedule
  • ITC Age of Sigmar

AoS is a bit more complicated with the mission in the Generals Handbook breaking down into:

  • Major Win 1004pts
  • Minor Win 1002pts
  • Ties are worth 501pts
  • Minor Loss 2pts
  • Major Loss 1pt.
  • Army Points is used as a tie breaker
  • Ties are sorted (not broken) by Strength of Schedule
  • ITC Leagues

The ITC encourages organized play of all varieties, including leagues! If you would like your local league to count for ITC points that is fine. The scores are calculated the same way as with an ITC tournament with the exception that we do not apply a round bonus as leagues tend to run over long periods of time and would create relatively unfair amounts of points when compared to other events. Lastly, these events only ever count as an RTT score, regardless of the number of participatns.

    Warmachine Steamroller

  • The event itself is swiss paired (1pt per Win, 0 for Loss)
  • Missions scored as per the Steamroller document here
  • Tie breakers are Strength of Schedule, Control Points and Army Points (in that order).

  • Other Events

  • The event itself is swiss paired (1000pts per Win, 500 ties & 0 for Loss)
  • Missions scored by a single number of any value
  • Ties are sorted (not broken) by Strength of Schedule
